Bombs,shells, ammo-filled army’s train derailed in Latehar

Bombs, shells, ammo-filled goods trains overturned, army captured the whole area under their possession.

A train of Indian Army carrying bombs, ammunition, tanks and military vehicles, derailed. After which the army took over the entire area. The incident occurred at around 5 am on Monday morning. The movement of trains did not halted but the entire area was turned into army cantonment.

The army train loaded with bombs, ammunition, tanks and other military vehicles overturned near Tory railway station in Latehar district in Jharkhand. The army immediately surrounded the entire area and restricted public movement for security reasons.

In view of security, no person was allowed to go around the train except the railway employees. This train originated from Ranchi. Military weapons, trucks and tankers were loaded on this train.

According to the Railway officials, the accident occurred while the train was changing the tracks near Tory railway station. No injured or casualties have been reported in this incident. Railway employees have made the derailed train back on tracks again.

Military special train derailed while changing tracks from the South East Railway line to the East Central Railway line. The military special train number 8206896042 stopped at the accident site when the front wheel of it got completely stuck between two joints.

It must be noted that the speed of the train was slow while the accident happened. If the train was in its own pace, a massive accident could not be ruled out.
