Assam: The only “Golden Tiger” of the country seen in Kaziranga National Park, people are sharing photos
The first and only Golden Tiger of the country has been seen in Kaziranga National Park in Assam, India. Its photo is being shared on social media multiple times. The photo of this golden tiger was captured by a photographer during wildlife photography. People are calling it Tabby and Strawberry Tiger. This tiger has a gold-like color and has red and brown stripes on its body. It is very much discussed due to its unique color.
IFS officer Parveen Kaswan has shared beautiful pictures of this rare tiger on his Twitter handle. With this photo, he congratulated photographer Mayuresh Hendre as Mayuresh took the picture of this tiger and went viral on social media. Parveen Kaswan tweeted that it may be because of the changes in the genes but its color is excellent and it is also rare.
Earlier, two Melanistic Tiger were photographed through the camera trap method at the Simlipal Tiger Reserve. This curious genetic phenomenon was observed in Odisha were normal tiger were giving birth to Melanistic tiger in Similipal tiger reserve.
Similipal National Park is a national park and a tiger reserve in the Mayurbhanj district in the Indian state of Odisha covering 2,750 sq. kms.
