India has recorded first death due to Corona virus infection (COVID-19), as officials confirmed. A 76 year old patient dies in India’s southern state of Karnataka.

The country is frightened due to the corona virus havoc. One person has been reported dead in Karnataka due to Corona virus. This is the first case of death due to corona virus infection in India. This death has taken place in sout Indian city of Kalaburgi in Karnataka. The age of the deceased is said to be 76 years. The patient had returned on 29th February from Saudi Arabia after a month long visit. State’s Mins. of Health said that the people who came in contact with the patients were being traced and quarantined.

The person died on Tuesday but his test results were made public on Thursday. The person was screened at the airport when he returned from Saudi Arabia, but should no symptoms signs at that time. He was having breathing difficulties since 5th March and was subsequently taken to hospital.

At the same time, 75 cases of corona virus have been confirmed in the country so far.

There are 52 testing centers of Corona virus in India. Apart from this, 56 sample collecting centers have also been built. Situation can be understood that the World Health Organization (WHO) declared Corona an pandemic on Wednesday.
 

So far, Six cases of corona virus has been confirmed in National Capital Delhi. While 17 in Kerala,14 in Haryana, 11 cases in Uttar Pradesh, 11 cases in Maharashtra, four in Karnataka, three cases each in Rajasthan and Ladakh, one case in each states of Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, and one case in Jammu and Kashmir.

Everything from school-college to cinema hall in Delhi has been closed till 31 March. Due to Corona virus, all schools in Uttarakhand have also been closed till March 31. Many sports programs have been canceled or postponed, but in the midst of all this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has tweeted and appealed not to panic Corona.

To prevent the spread of corona virus, India has suspended the visa of people coming from any country of the world till 15 April. Visa-free travel to card holders has also been stopped till 15 April. This ban will be applicable at all airports and ports from 12 am of 13 March.

Meanwhile, about 6 thousand Indians are stranded in Iran. Among them, 1100 pilgrims from states including Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Maharashtra and other. 300 students from states including Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala and others, 1000 fishermen from various states including Gujarat, Kerala and Tamil Nadu are also included.
