Man killed in Elephant attack at Nagrakata

#ElephantAttack at #Nagarakata:

A person died in a wild elephant attack at Nagrakata. The incident took place at #Nagrakata #Sukhani Busty on yesterday around 10pm. The deceased has been identified as Birbal Rai (65).

It has been known from the local sources that Birbal Rai went out of home for a walk after having dinner at 10 pm on Thursday night. Suddenly a tusker came right from the bushes and attacked Birbal while he tried to escape the elephant. He died on the spot at the elephant crushed him.

After the incident, locals informed the forest department but no officials from the forest dept. reached the spot. The angered people protested at the dept. for hours.
